Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and creative Design Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for design, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to guide clients through the entire design process. You will be responsible for working closely with clients to understand their needs, provide expert design recommendations, and create customized concrete coating solutions that enhance both function and aesthetics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-home consultations to assess client needs and measure project areas.
- Provide professional design advice on color schemes, textures, and finishes for concrete coatings.
- Create and present design proposals that reflect the client’s vision and budget.
- Maintain a high level of knowledge of our product offerings and stay updated on the latest trends in concrete coatings and interior/exterior design.
- Collaborate with the installation team to ensure accurate and efficient project execution.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through excellent communication and follow-up.
- Achieve sales targets by converting consultations into signed contracts.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Design Consultant, Sales Consultant, or similar role in the home improvement or design industry.
- Strong understanding of design principles, color theory, and material selection.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient with design software and tools (CAD, SketchUp, etc.) is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends, to accommodate client schedules.
